Against Medical Advice

I finished my third book today. It was written by one of my favorite authors James Patterson. This was a little different from his other books. It was a true story about a a teenager that overcame some unbelievable odds. The teenager boy Corey was diagnosed with OCD and Tourettes Sydrome. Both of these I have heard about but never fully saw or understood the affect it could have on someones life. Corey show such determination to lead a normal live and succeed as being a normal person. I admire his determination but his parents impressed more than anything. No matter what they were there fighting for his rights and standing by him always. Some of the things he described doing I am sure some parents would have packed him up and sent him on his way. His parents stayed by his side and fought with him for everything along the way. They showed an unbelievable amount of unconditional love.

I would recommend this book to anyone that was looking for a book that touches your heart.
